ProtectMyID Feature Highlight: Surveillance Alert™ Notifications

Mar 14

At the ProtectMyID blog, we try to keep the content educational and avoid talking about ourselves too much. However, some readers have been asking for more information about exactly what our great product can do. In order to answer these questions, we’re launching a recurring blog series called the ProtectMyID Feature Highlight. Each month, we’ll talk about one aspect of the product and explain just how it helps protect you from identity theft. Have questions? Leave us a comment below.

This month, we’re focusing on Surveillance Alert™ Notifications. Identity thieves won’t tell you they’re using your personal information, but ProtectMyID will. As a ProtectMyID member, you will be alerted via text or email (you choose) of any new activity that could indicate that identity thieves are at work. This could be a new credit account opened using your SSN, a loan application, or even someone trying to change your address to re-route your bills (a common practice among identity thieves).

With early notification, ProtectMyID helps you stop the damage before it gets out of hand. In fact, every day, we make your protection a top priority with three levels of advanced monitoring, including:

1. Credit Monitoring
2. Internet Scan
3. National Change of Address Monitoring

If you’re a ProtectMyID member and have received an alert that lead you to stop identity theft in its tracks, leave us a comment below. We’d love to hear from you!
