October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month

Sep 30

There are a lot of things to be scared about in October. New and classic horror films, Halloween parties and decorations remind us that this is the month of fright. However, fears of identity theft shouldn’t be something people are worried about. In fact, October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month. ProtectMyID.com™ is proud to work with organizations like the National Cyber Security Alliance and the Identity Theft Resource Center to help people learn about best ways to stay safe online and protect their identities.

In observance of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, you’ll notice that the blog posts throughout October are written by members of the Identity Theft Resource Center. We’re grateful to these knowledgeable guest bloggers for their insights into ways to protect yourself while online. So, enjoy all the candy and parties this month, but leave fear behind as you educate yourself about more ways to stay safe.
